Features two (2) chess player cards in the fifth series design with elaborate gold frames around the players: #171 Alexander Alekhine and #172 Jose Capablanca. Capablanca's second name was used and misspelled, Raul instead of Raoul. The cards would be more accurately dated to 1927 or 1927-28 which coincides with the World Chess Championship match that took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina from September 16th 1927 to November 29th 1927. The photographs used on the cards are easily identified as being from the match which Alekhine won. Only the chess player cards are listed here.
